How We Can Help
Amy Sobelman Therapy is a holistic psychotherapy practice that blends proven evidence-based therapeutic modalities with philosophical and spiritual perspectives such as mindfulness and meditation to treat the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
We specialize in the treatment of trauma-related issues and PTSD. Trauma underlies many issues including but not limited to addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. We believe that trauma-informed treatment is part of a holistic approach to wellness, and is necessary in order to fully resolve the root of the issues and create meaningful and lasting change.

Testimonials
PreviousI reached out to Amy looking for help at a really dark time in my life when I did not have a lot of hope. Trust is a big deal for me, and she helped me feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Amy was able to get to the root of the issues and helped me to work through trauma that I had been carrying with me for years. I am so grateful for the incredible support and guidance she gave me, and for the first time in a long time I feel hopeful and excited for the future.

My friend referred me to Amy for EMDR as I was struggling with a lot anxiety and relationship issues. I had been in therapy before but did not get that much out of it. My experience doing EMDR with Amy was incredibly powerful and helped me to finally overcome the barriers that were keeping me from finding love and happiness. I can now enjoy my life in a way I never thought was possible!
